I Belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints

Come Unto Me as a Little Child

Brekkon Boulter

Aug. 4, 2007

This past weekend my son, Brekkon, was baptized as the newest member of our church. He was baptized by his dad Blake and the two witnesses were his granpa's. Pretty much the whole family was there to share in this wonderful time of Brekkons life. My parents drove down from Salt Lake on Friday. I was very impressed to see Brandon and Misti there along with the whole Thayne family. It really ment alot to us to have them there. Also there was Brandon Boulter and his wife. Thanks guys for comming and helping make Brekkon's day even better!!

The baptism was only an hour long. We met in the Chapel for opening exercises then went out by ward to do the baptism. It was nice how they do that instead of having the whole Stake go. Afterwards we met in the Relief Society room (that was the room our ward was assigned) and our Bishop said a few things. Following the baptism we went to my in-laws house for a light dinner. Thanks Bill and Teri for allowing us to use your home! It all was beautiful and tasted wonderful!

At church the next day Brekkon was Confirmed a member by his dad. We had a small circle with the three most important people in it, dad and his two grandpa's. I had gone back and forth with the Confermation day but am really happy that I kept it on Sunday. It really has been a very wonderful weekend.
